If you’ve been following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, then you’ve probably heard we’ve introduced a new workout to our gym: KickBox.
Stephen Boyle, who helped train national and international boxing champions, leads this high-intensity workout that incorporates the fundamentals of boxing, solid pad work, and conditioning drills. It’s designed to build strength, endurance, and core power while also improving agility and coordination.
While it’s a proven fact that exercise is an effective way to reduce stress, KickBox takes this to the next level. Learn to punch, jab, kick, and move just like a trained boxer, letting go of the day’s stresses while burning calories all at the same time.
Open to all levels, classes are a mix of men and women ranging from beginner to intermediate. No matter what your training background is, Boyle can easily adjust the drills and exercises based on your needs.
Like POWERFIT, KickBox is designed in eight-week increments so you gauge your progress and results over a two-month period. With just two classes per week, you’ll increase your fitness and stamina while also learning the fundamentals of boxing.
